Clippers vs. Mavericks same-game parlay predictions Dec. 20: Bet on L.A., Kawhi to stay hot
The red-hot Los Angeles Clippers head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks tonight.
The pregame narrative: The Clippers are riding a league-best eight-game winning streak and I'm expecting them to stay in the win column. Kawhi Leonard is putting up monster numbers and is worth backing while Luka Doncic is generally trustworthy in the assist department.

Clippers vs. Mavericks same-game parlay
Parlay: Warriors +8.5 + Jokic over 9.5 assists + Siakam under 22.5 points (+335)
Clippers moneyline (-130): It might have taken the Clippers a while to mesh, but man, they look dangerous right now. L.A. is a perfect 8-0 in December and it's not just beating up on basement-dwellers.
The Clippers have logged wins over the Warriors (twice), Knicks, Pacers and Nuggets this month and are averaging 133.4 points per game over their past five outings.
Dallas is a solid team but it will once again be without Kyrie Irving, who is sidelined with a heel injury.
The Mavericks are 3-2 in his absence, but two of those wins were against the Ja Morant-less Grizzlies and the bottom-feeding Trail Blazers while the losses were both by double-digits to the Nuggets and Timberwolves.
Other parlay picks
Leonard over 37.5 PRA (-225): Leonard is reminding everyone that he's one of the best in the game. The Claw has been on fire this month, averaging 29.3 points on otherworldly 62.3/54.8/95.1 shooting splits.
On top of being a walking 30-piece, Leonard is posting 4.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game in December. That all equates to a 38.8 PRA average, which is just north of what this line asks.
It's worth noting Leonard had his worst game of the season against Dallas last month — scoring just eight points on 2-of-12 shooting — but this is a line he's cleared in five of his past six games, and that hot steak should continue tonight.
Doncic over 9.5 assists (-177): For as good as Leonard has been in December, Doncic has been even better. The 24-year-old superstar is averaging 36.6 points and 11.6 assists per game.
He's recorded double-digit helpers in six of eight games this month and is playing a team-high 39.9 minutes per night.
The Clippers are a solid defensive team and typically hold opposing point guards in check, but Doncic isn't your average floor general.
