College football 2022 Week 3 upset pick, lock, bad bet, and strangest thing

Week 2 of the 2022 college football season was fraught with unseemly upsets. Top 10 powerhouses Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Baylor were toppled. Kentucky beat Florida for the third time in five years after three decades of futility. Wisconsin was dismissed by Washington State, Georgia Southern managed to get Scott Frost fired at Nebraska, No. 1 Alabama was pushed to the brink by an unranked Texas team.

Pitt beat Tennessee 7-5 in overtime.

Lock is 3-1 on the season so far. He was wrong about the Kentucky vs. Florida game. Lock took Mississippi State -11.5 over Arizona and the Bulldogs won 22-0.

Troy Trojans are playing an early-season in-conference game against Appalachian State Mountaineers. The line is 12.5 points. App State is coming to Boone, North Carolina, after their huge road upset of Texas A&M. The game should be a tight one.

Iowa is favored by 23.5 over Nevada. Nevada has only scored 14 points the entire season. Iowa has scored just 14 against South Dakota State and Iowa State.

Georgia Bulldogs play their first game outside Georgia. Georgia didn't practice well the week before the Samford game. South Carolina Gamecocks are favored by 24.5 points.

Georgia beat Samford 33-0. South Carolina looked sloppy and unprepared against Arkansas. Georgia is on another level and should eviscerate the Gamecocks.

Georgia and Louisville are playing each other in Louisville on Friday night. Georgia should have a two-touchdown lead at halftime.

Florida State Seminoles are the better team. They play Louisville Cardinals on Friday night. The Seminole's won their first two games. Louisville won last year's game 6-6.

The Florida State Seminoles are the favorite to upset the UVA in the college football 2022 season.
