College Football Betting Odds For Championship Weekend

Betting Lines Via Sports Interaction:

(5) Oregon vs. (3) Washington – Pac-12 Title Game – Oregon – 9.5 Favorites

This is one of the more intriguing games of the weekend. It is the rematch from October, where Washington defeated Oregon 36-33. But it has been the Ducks that have looked like the better team rather than the Huskies. Oregon’s offense has been firing on all cylinders with Bo Nix at the helm. Be careful of this number because Washington still has one of the best defenses in the nation. This will be another tight game. Expect Ducks head coach Dan Lanning to learn from his mistakes. Let’s see what Michael Penix Jr and that Huskies offense can do. The Winner of this game goes to the College Football Playoff.

(8) Alabama vs. (1) Georgia – SEC Championship – Georgia -6 Favorites

Another fun matchup this weekend in the SEC. Of course, this is how it was going to play out: the Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the Georgia Bulldogs. And the two-time defending National Champions Georgia Bulldogs are favored by 6 points. It’s not surprising here, given the season Alabama had. But never count Nick Saban out in this situation. We have seen them win this situation before. But do not think for a minute they will be able to convert on a 4th and 31 again, not against this defense. Georgia will end a lot of debate with a win here. However, if Jalen Milroe and the Tide win, there will be a lot of chaos on Sunday.

(18) Oklahoma State vs. (7) Texas – Big 12 Title Game – Texas – 15.5 Favorites

With a win in this game, Texas has a chance to get to the College Football Playoff. It will be tough against a good Oklahoma State Cowboys team. Not you know Texas coach Steve Sarkisian will want to go out and prove he is the Big 12 Coach of the Year, and it is not Mike Gundy in this game. However, we have seen how the Cowboys get up for big games. They have a good offense and defense to keep things close. Texas is the better team and should win, but the spread is a little high.

(16) Iowa vs. (2) Michigan – Big Ten Championship – Michigan – 22.5 Favorites

This should be an easy win for Michigan. Iowa’s offense is not that good. The Hawkeyes’ defense is good but will not be able to stop J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum. Not to mention the players are playing with this Everybody v Michigan mentality that will carry them through. Oh yeah, Jim Harbaugh is coming back for this game. While the spread is a little high, Michigan has the fire power to make this happen.

(14) Louisville vs. (4) Florida State – ACC Championship – Florida St – 2.5 Favorites

The spread should tell you all you need to know about what people think of the Florida State Seminoles. Without Jordan Travis, they are a different team. The Seminoles barely beat the Florida Gators last week. They need a convincing win here and that might not get them in. Right now, the Seminoles are not one of the four best teams in the nation. Not to mention the Louisville Cardinals have a team that can test Florida State and potentially win the game. Even if the Seminoles win, I’m not sure they are a playoff team if the Committee wants the four best teams in  College Football.
