College football 2022 Week 5 upset pick, lock, bad bet, and strangest thing

Week 4 in 2022 saw some big-time teams losing to underdogs and yet another dismissed coach. Miami was soundly defeated by Middle Tennessee State. Geoff Collins was fired by Georgia Tech. He joins Scott Frost and Herm Edwards on the list of fired coaches in the 2022 season. The next week is less exciting, but still interesting.

Virginia Tech will lose to West Virginia at Lane Stadium on Thursday night.

Last week I was 1-2 in my picks. I am 6-4 on the season for my college football picks and I'm better than Joey Galloway's virtual locks this year.

Boise State is having a difficult season. Their offensive coordinator was fired and their starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier is leaving the team. San Diego State Aztecs have the home field advantage. They are a good team, but they are losing to Boise State.

Aztecs should beat the 6.5 and probably win outright if you're looking at a Moneyline bet.

Washington Huskies and UCLA Bruins are both undefeated in the Pac-12 this season. Washington is 4-0 ATS in 2022. UCLA is 2-2, including 1- 2 as the home team. The Husky's are a lock to cover the three-point margin.

The Huskies are going to beat the team from the West by two scores.

West Virginia Mountaineers will play Texas Longhorns in the college football season's Week 5.

Neither team has good indicators or trends this year. Texas is favored by 9.5 points. WVU is a team that let Kansas dump 55 points on them.

Texas will win by less than 6 points.

The Washington-Stanford game was interrupted by a rogue drone flying over the field. The drone belonged to the University of Washington. The game had to be delayed for the protection of players and fans. Fox Sports reporter Jennifer Hale said that the drone was owned by the Washington Athletic Department.
