The Bowl games start to get a bit more intriguing once Christmas is in the rearview, and we get a very underrated game on Saturday afternoon on December 30. Here’s how I’m betting the game on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Wyoming vs. Toledo (Saturday December 30, 4:30 pm ET)

In Pocket:Wyoming +1.5 (-110) — 2-units

I put this play out once Bowl games were on the board, and it moved significantly, as expected. However, this remains a tremendous situation for the Cowboys, who I expect to rally for this game.

Toledo was a team I really liked in the regular season, and cashed a ticket on them to win their division. After going 11-1 and easily cashing, the Rockets were upset in the conference title game. That kind of deflated their season, and now they are playing for less come Bowl season.

While there aren’t many opt-outs in this game overall, there’s one big one — Toledo QB Dequan Finn. Finn is the engine that makes the Rockets go, combining for nearly 7,000 passing yards, 63 passing touchdowns, over 1,700 rushing yards and 25 rushing touchdowns over the last three seasons as the starter. That’s irreplaceable production.

On the Wyoming side, the Cowboys put together another solid 8-4 season, but have something to play for in this game. Head coach Craig Bohl will be retiring at season’s end, and in his 10th year is the longest-tenured head football coach in school history. The Cowboys have been spectacular in Bowl games under Bohl, including becoming the first coach to lead the school the three-straight Bowl victories. This is the ultimate send off spot, and I expect this Wyoming team to play with purpose.
