College Football Betting Odds Week 12: Picks Against the Spread for Top 25 Schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs reached a level that few college football teams can hit in their last two games.

The top-ranked team in the country looked like a dominant two-time reigning champion in wins over the Missouri Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels.

That could be bad news for the Tennessee Volunteers in Week 12. The Vols displayed plenty of flaws this season and they could be in for a tough 60 minutes, like Ole Miss faced against UGA last week.

Georgia will use its SEC finale on Saturday and next week's clash with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as warmups for the SEC Championship Game, where it must be at its absolute best to take down the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Week 12's other marquee matchups comes from the Pac-12, where the Washington Huskies are a slight underdog for their trip to Corvallis.

The Oregon State Beavers can win a defensive battle with Washington, but they lack an edge at quarterback, and that is the advantage the Huskies can use to win.

Georgia and Tennessee experienced far different fortunes last week.

The Bulldogs steamrolled past Ole Miss with a 52-point outburst, while the Vols stumbled in a 36-7 defeat to Missouri.

The two results were indicative of the overall performance of both sides this season.

Georgia has played better as the season went on. Two of its best performances occurred at home in the last two weeks against ranked foes.

Tennessee came up short in its two ranked matchups with Alabama and Missouri. The Vols lost both contests by double digits and did not have much of an offensive response behind Joe Milton.

The Vols do not have the same offensive firepower as last year, which means if they go down by multiple scores on Saturday, they may not play a factor in the contest.

UGA's offense is humming with Carson Beck finally finding a rhythm at quarterback. Brock Bowers proved how dangerous he can be in his return from injury in the 52-17 win over Ole Miss.

Tennessee might be competitive for a half, but it is nowhere close to matching Georgia's highest level, which is what we have seen for the last two weeks.

Washington needs Michael Penix Jr. to once again show why he is a Heisman Trophy contender on Saturday.

The left-handed quarterback rescued Washington from a handful of potential upsets in the last month, and if he plays at his best, he can lead the Huskies to their 11th win.

Oregon State prides itself on its defense and it could force Penix into trouble on a few drives, but it is at a quarterbacking disadvantage with D.J. Uiagelelei.

The Clemson transfer has had a solid season, but two of his four interceptions came against ranked foes and he threw for over 250 yards once in three Top 25 battles.

Penix has had at least 250 passing yards and a pair of touchdown passes in all three of his Top 25 matchups this season.

The Washington quarterback found a way to lead his team to victory in the tight games and he should be trusted again to keep the Huskies among the slender ranks of the unbeaten teams in the FBS.
