College football pick’em: Week 3

Ole Miss Rebels are coming off a 59-3 victory over Central Arkansas. Georgia Tech is coming from Western Carolina and is a 16-point favorite for this Saturday's game. The Rebels have a new defense, including former GeorgiaTech defensive end Jared Ivey. The Yellow Jackets have been disappointing this season. They should stick to running the ball and not pass the football. Ole Miss is the favorite and could cover the 16 points.

The Texas A&M Aggies lost to Appalachian State Mountaineers last week. This week they face the Miami Hurricanes, who have been on fire since the start of the season. Miami has scored 70 points against Bethune-Cookman and 30 against Southern Miss.

Georgia is ranked as the best team in the country. South Carolina is a team that has a new quarterback, Spencer Rattler. The Gamecocks lost to Arkansas last week. Georgia has an offensive line that can move around the field to compromise defenses. Quarterback Stetson Bennett has out-performed his expectations. Georgia needs to hit Bennett a lot to give him a bad throw. GameCocks need to take advantage of this.

Penn State and Auburn will play each other for the second year in a row. Last year, Auburn won 28-20 at Beaver Stadium. Penn State is led by senior quarterback Sean Clifford. Auburn struggled in their last game against San Jose State.

BYU is coming off an overtime win against No. 9 Baylor. The Oregon Ducks are looking to prove that they are more than a middle-of-the-pack team. BYU is playing for a potential playoff appearance. The Cougars surprised many by beating the defending Big-12 champion Baylor Bears in Week 2. They have to win this game to finish the season in the Top 4.
