Washington State will take on Fresno State in LA Bowl at 3: 30 p., and Southern Mississippi will face Rice in LendingTree Bowl. Rice is one of the few teams in this bowl season with a losing record (5-7). Southern Miss has played better at times than its 6-6 record.

Marshall plays UConn in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday, December 19 at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN). Eastern Michigan plays San Jose State in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at 3:00 p., and Liberty plays Toledo in Boca Raton Bowl.  Liberty is moving on from the Hugh Freeze era. Toledo is looking for a new coach. Sanjay Chadwell will have a good opportunity to shine at quarterback against the Rockets. The game will be played on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7: 30 p.:m., (TV: ESPN).

Baylor and Air Force are playing in the Armed Forces Bowl on Thursday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN). Wake Forest plays Missouri in Gasparilla Bowl at 6: 30 p., and Houston plays Louisiana on Friday, Dec 23 at 8 p,m (TV). The winner will play in next year's Big 12 Championship.   For the rest of the season, the team that won the Big12 Championship will be playing for the next season. For this year, they will choose between the following teams: Baylor, Air force, Houston and Louisiana.
