College football picks, schedule: Predictions against the spread, odds for top 25 games in Week 6

This week's college football schedule features three ranked teams playing against each other. No. 8 Tennessee travels to No 25 LSU. Kansas plays No 17 TCU. Utah visits No 18 Utah. Alabama, No 2 Georgia, Georgia and No 3 Ohio State are playing each others. Michigan is playing Indiana. Jerry Palm's bowl projections will be announced on Sunday. CBS Sports will provide live coverage of all the college games.

Auburn racked up 438 yards against LSU's defense last week. LSU came away with a big road win, but it was likely attributable to a +3 edge in turnover margin. Tennessee is more consistent and should outscore the Tigers.

Kansas is on a winning streak. TCU is the best team Kansas has faced. The Horned Frogs are not special on the defensive side. Kansas is favored by 7 points.   Fornelli predicts a lot of points and neither team pulls away from the other.

Georgia is favored by 30 points over Auburn. The game will be played at 3:30 p.m. at Sanford Stadium.

UCLA and Utah are playing a game on Fox at 3:30 p.m. (Try to watch it on FuboTV). Last week, UCLA's offense impressed Tom Fornelli, but he's not convinced by the defense. Utah's defense ranks 13th nationally in success rate, 15th in points allowed per drive and 4th on EPA (expected points added) per snap.

Ohio State and Michigan State are playing at 4 p.m. ET. The Buckeyes are favored by 25.5 points. There are questions about the availability of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and TreVeyon Henderson.

Texas A&M plays Alabama at 8 p.m. The Aggies have one of the worst offenses in the Power Five level. Chip Patterson is picking the Aggie to win. SportsLine's computer model has returned more than $3,100 in profit over the past six-plus seasons.
