College football player props for Saturday Week 11

Ray Davis Over 63.5 rushing yards (+102 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In his debut season with Kentucky after transferring from Vanderbilt, running back Ray Davis has emerged as a central figure in the team's offensive strategy. Across 148 attempts, he has showcased his impact by amassing a total of 903 yards and scoring nine touchdowns. Davis maintains an impressive average of around 100 yards per game, highlighting his consistent and significant contributions to Kentucky's offensive success throughout the season.

Davis' rushing yardage has been set disrespectfully low in an unfavorable matchup. Not only is Alabama favored by double-digits on the road, but the Crimson Tide are surrendering just 119.6 yards per game on the ground this year.

Still, Kentucky's best chance at a possible upset is to play ball control by feeding Davis. He will certainly get plenty of work, recording 15-plus carries in each of the last six games. He has cleared this rushing mark in six of his nine outings in 2023.

We project Davis to clear 70 rushing yards in this one, so it's in our best interest to take advantage of this plus-money price at Caesars, particularly when you consider the rest of our best sportsbooks have set this total four yards higher and attached minus odds on the Over.

Joe Milton III Over 18.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Regular readers of this column have been burned by quarterback rushing props this season. But we've also hit plenty of plus-money prices by attacking the same market. Such is life when college football counts sacks as negative yards for quarterbacks.

That said, the rushing line for Tennessee QB Joe Milton III seems a bit low ahead of Saturday's showdown with Missouri. Milton has proven he's not afraid to get involved in the run game when the Vols need him to.

In last week's shellacking of UConn, Milton took off only twice and netted seven yards in the process. Prior to that, he recorded 25 total rushing attempts in back-to-back road games against Kentucky and Alabama. Milton tallied 85 rushing yards over those two weeks.

Milton has cleared this mark in five different games, but he usually clears it by a good margin when he does. We are projecting him to finish with about 28 rushing yards, which has led us to take this discounted line at FanDuel. The other best sports betting sites have set Milton's rushing mark at 21.5.

College football player props for Thursday Week 11

Frank Gore Jr. anytime touchdown scorer (-105 via bet365⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✔️

You can't often find value on the son of former NFL running back Frank Gore. But thanks to this favorable price at bet365, we can bet on Southern Miss tailback Frank Gore Jr. to score at least once in Thursday's road matchup with UL Lafayette. He is -150 or -155 to record a TD via our remaining best sports betting apps.

In his junior campaign, Gore has recorded 812 yards and seven touchdowns on 163 rushing attempts across nine game. He has been given 24 carries in back-to-back games, turning that into 378 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

The obvious concern is that Southern Miss is a 9.5-point underdog on the road, with a projection of roughly three touchdowns via the market. The Rajin' Cajuns have a vulnerable run defense, however, as they are giving up an average of an average of 155.4 yards and 1.8 touchdowns on the ground this season. Per PFF, they rank 103rd in run defense.

As I preach every week, touchdowns are fluky and tough to predict. But this is still a four-star play because we are taking advantage of an off-market number in a favorable matchup.
