College Football Week 3 Preview, Picks and Odds

Week 2 of the 2022 college football season was headlined by a bunch of traditional powerhouses being upset by unranked teams.

There are two games this week in which both teams are ranked in the top 25 of the new AP poll. Penn State's first ever trip to Auburn is one of them.

BYU defeated Baylor 26-20 in double overtime last week. Oregon is back in the top 25 after a 49-3 loss to Georgia in Week 1. BYU is 7-1 in its last 8 games, 5- 1 in last 6 road games and 4-0 against the spread as an underdog. The Cougars will cover the cover and win this game.

College Football Week 3 starts on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Penn State is 13-6 ATS in its last 19 games and has a nine-game win streak in September matchups. Sean Clifford will start for Penn State at quarterback against Auburn. Auburn has won 15 of its past 20 games.

College Football Week 3 starts on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Aggies lost to Appalachian State last week and dropped to No. 24 in the latest AP poll. The Hurricanes are 2-0 and have easy wins against Bethune Cookman and Southern Miss. Texas A&M's quarterback situation is a concern. They lost their last game by less than three points. The Aggie's are 1-4 ATS in their past five games.
