Detroit Pistons: When will losing streak end odds

At this point we’ve made extensively clear just how bad of shape the Detroit Pistons are in.

They’ve lost 24 games in a row. Their projected win total in Las Vegas has dropped to 9.5 for the year and they are in the conversation for one of the worst records in NBA history.

Which is to say nothing about the business they’ve cost local Wingstop franchises.

So when will all this misery come to an end? When will the Pistons update their win column?

Oddsmakers are trying to figure that out as well.

Over at DraftKings Sportsbook, the house has put together lines on what day Detroit will get its next victory and, not to be too cynical about the whole thing, but yes, there is an option for “not to win another game in 2023-24”.

If you’re the type of bettor who likes to root for such chaos, the +100000 might look more than intriguing — even if those odds feel like they should be lower. For everyone else, there are better options out there.

Thursday night’s contest against Utah gives the Piston slightly less than a 50 percent chance to win,  but are some slightly more fun value plays on the board. The second half of a home-and-home with Brooklyn visiting Detroit on Dec. 26 stands out with +500 odds.

So does a trip to Washington on Jan. 15 at +6500.

If it gets to that point, however, Detroit might just have to fold as an organization.
