Doncaster Cup 2022 Tips and Betting: Trueshan All The Rage

The Doncaster Cup 2022 is the main draw on the third day of the St Leger Festival on Town Moor this Friday. Trueshan is a favorite to win the race. The Alan King-trained 5-year-old is expected to have a clear path this year with the two-time winner Stradivarius bypassing the event.

The Coral Doncaster Cup is a Group Two contest open to 3+ year-olds and run over 2m2f at Doncasters Racecourse every September. The winner of the competition receives £73,723,000.

Stradivarius and Kyprios are not entered in the Doncaster Cup. Trueshan is the favourite to win the race. The Alan King-trained 5-year-old is rated 124 and 11lbs higher than his nearest rival Coltrane.

It will be the first time Trueshan has raced on Town Moor. He is defending the Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot next month.

Doncaster Cup 2022 is on Friday. Trueshan has won his last four races when the going is soft. The rain is expected before the race.

Hollie Doyle will continue in the saddle this Friday to ride her old pal Trueshan. She has won on Trushan five times in past but is yet to finish out of the first three on the 5-year-old King horse.
