DraftKings Sportsbook Week 17 prop bets: Falcons underdogs in Chicago

Week 17 is here as the Atlanta Falcons will go on the road and face the Chicago Bears. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. EST today, as the Falcons look to keep their incredibly slim playoff hopes alive.

There’s some interesting prop bets this week in this divisional matchup. Before making any decisions though, let’s look at some more numbers, graciously provided by our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Falcons: +2.5 (+100)

The outcome here somewhat depends on your outlook of whether the Falcons will win or not. Over their last three victories, the Falcons have won by 5+ points in each game. The Bears are favorites right now to win, and they’ve won two of their last three games by 9+ points.

Taylor Heinicke: Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (+220)

Heinicke made the start last week against the Colts, threw only one touchdown, as he has done in all four games he has played in this season. I recommended the under on 1.5 last week, and it remains the same this week. The Falcons put up 29 points last week and he only threw one touchdown. It can happen again, and probably will.

Taylor Heinicke: Under 197.5 passing yards (-115)

Although the Bears haven’t been too good this season, their defense has been pretty decent. Probably one of the better defenses the Falcons have played in a while. I’m taking the under here and guessing Heinicke throws around the 180-yard mark.

Taylor Heinicke: Over 0.5 interceptions (-150)

Sure as the sun will rise, the Falcons are destined to throw an interception, no matter who the quarterback is. The offense is built on turning the ball over, and turning the ball over they will. I’ll take the over here to say Heinicke throws at least one interception.

Bijan Robinson: Over 21.5 receiving yards (-140)

Over the last three games, Bijan has had 50+ receiving yards in two games. I think 21.5 is definitely reachable for him against a Bears defense that has struggled lately against opposing running backs.

Drake London: Under 42.5 receiving yards (-115)

Drake London is a real talent that will thrive when the Falcons have a good quarterback. With that being said, the Falcons don’t have a good quarterback no matter who is back there, and London has been essentially phased out of the passing game. Aside from a random 172-yard game in Week 14, London has failed to top 39 yards in three of the last four games. I’m taking the under here.
