Early look at contenders for 2023 Tour de France

Jonas Vingegaard won the Tour de France this year. The preparations for the 2023 edition have already started.

Jonas Vingegaard is the favorite to win the Tour de France next year. He is 25 years old and has the potential to dominate the race for years to come. He won two of the toughest stages in 2022. The Tour is won by 23 cyclists so far.

Primoz Roglic was the Tour de France runner-up in 2020. He won the Paris-Nice race and the Criterium du Dauphine this year. The Slovenian is the winner of Vuelta a Espana in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Egan Bernal was injured in a cycling accident earlier this year. He is now targeting a return to the sport. Berna will take part in the Danmark Rundt. The two-time Grand Tour winner wants to compete in Tour de France stage one in 2023.

Jai Hindley won the Giro d'Italia in 2022. He finished second in the Grand Tour in 2020. Hindly has not featured in Tour de France yet, but he will consider it next year. The 2023 Tour will be the 110th edition in history.
