The Nassau Stakes headlined another fantastic card on day three of Glorious Goodwood, where the Richmond and Gordon Stakes will also be up for grabs.

Here are our free tips through the card on day three of Glorious Goodwood.

Glorious Goodwood Day Three Card

Glorious Goodwood Day Three Tips

Race 1 - Kincsem Handicap Tips

Chances can be given to plenty in this fascinating opener to Thursday's action. I'm going to have a small each-way bet on CRACK SHOT (14/1), who makes his handicap debut off what could turn out to be a very lenient mark.

Ed Walker's gelding returned an SP of 18/1 when winning at Nottingham on his second novice start. Crack Shot then attempted to give seven pounds to odds-on favourite Botanical at Hamilton, but came away from that contest second-best. Crack Shot still managed to clock an RPR of 92 in that losing effort and Walker has booked the in-form Saffie Osbourne to take the ride on Thursday. I expect the bottom weight to be competitive.

Race 2 - Richmond Stakes Tips

Jasour bring Group Twos-winning form to the table and warrants the tag of favouritism, even under a penalty. Sketch ran out an impressive winner on debut at Newbury 12 days ago, setting a quicker time than what Commanche Falls managed in winning the Hackwood Stakes later on the same card, so Oisin Murphy's mount has to be respected too.

At a longer price, I'm going to side with WATCH MY TRACER (11/1), who I tipped up at a crazy price in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. George Scott's juvenile went into that Group Two on the back of a taking debut victory at Yarmouth and, although he could only finish seventh behind River Tiber, Watch My Tracer was only beaten less than five lengths having basically walked out of the stalls.

Danny Muscutt's mount has since carried a penalty to victory in another maiden at Windsor. I'm not expecting the form of that race to amount to much, but it will certainly have helped restore Watch My Tracer's confidence. Dandy Man's progeny usually enjoy cut in the ground and George Scott's runners are in good form, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Watch My Tracer run another solid race.

Race 3 - Gordon Stakes Tips

From his last seven runners in the Gordon Stakes, Aidan O'Brien has saddled two winners, three seconds and a third. The sole Ballydoyle representative this year will be St Leger entrant ESPIONAGE (7/4), who rounded off a progressive juvenile campaign with a head-defeat in the Criterium International at Saint-Cloud.

On his belated return to action at Roscommon last month, Espionage looked a little rusty, but still ran out a convincing winner of the Listed Lenebene Stakes. O'Brien has clearly had the Gordon Stakes in mind for this son of Galileo and that fact that the ground has come up soft at Goodwood only enhances Espionage's chances.

Race 4 - Nassau Stakes Tips

Race 5 - Nursery Handicap Tips

Mark Johnston won this handicap on a regular basis and I wouldn't be surprised if his son, Charlie carried on the family tradition with LINCOLN LEGACY (9/1)

A winner on debut at Kempton, Johnston's filly plugged on well under a penalty to place third at Windsor last time out. William Buick's mount is a full sister to a former winner of the Prestige Stakes here at Goodwood and Lincoln Legacy only has to shoulder 8-9 on her handicap debut.

Race 6 - Buccellati Handicap Tips

Gary Moore runs two in the inaugural running of this three-year-old handicap, including Novus, who I tipped prior to her runner-up finish here on day one.

Moore's second-string is ALPHA CRUCIS (22/1), who began life in handicap company with a soft-ground victory at Windsor, followed by an excellent runner-up effort under Jason Watson at Epsom eight days later. Moore's gelding didn't show his true colours over seven furlongs at Kempton last time out. Returning to soft turf will certainly suit and Alpha Crucis remains well-treated off his current mark of 80.

Race 7 - Maiden Fillies' Stakes Tips

I usually err on the side of experience in flat maidens and ORNELLAIA (4/1) seemed like she'd improve plenty for her debut effort at Newmarket.

Dominic Ffrench Davis' filly hung right across the track when she met the riding ground, but still stayed on strongly to finish a close third behind Sacred Angel, who went on to win the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot last weekend. Stepping up to seven furlongs should be no bother for Kevin Stott's mount and Ornellaia has landed a kind draw in stall four.

Race 8 - World Pool Handicap Tips

ROGUE SPIRIT (16/1) was thrown up to a lofty juvenile rating of 96 last autumn, following an impressive handicap victory over now 109-rated Al Dasim on softish ground at Haydock.

Tom Clover's charge has largely struggled since, but those defeats have helped Rogue Spirit drop down to a lowly mark of 87. Tom Marquand rides on Thursday and, if the first-time blinkers do the trick, Rogue Spirit is handicapped well enough to contend.
