F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix:Stick with Unbeatable Verstappen

The Saudi Arabian GP is next on the agenda, and we have our best F1 bet for the grand prix.

As shown in Bahrain, Max Verstappen is simply too quick, which is why he’s the raging-hot favorite to win in consecutive weeks.

Verstappen is Slick

Every Formula 1 driver wishes they had Verstappen’s car, because it’s clearly the fastest on the track.

Verstappen couldn’t have been more impressive winning in Bahrain, paying -300 at the BetUS sportsbook. That price is wonderful considering he’s paying -500 to win the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

It’s a short price to take for the favorite, but we don’t see any other betting strategy. He’s well worth including in motorsport parlays at the current odds.

Even if he doesn’t qualify on the pole, which he’s likely to, his car is quick enough to lead at the first corner.

Perez Shortening Odds

Sergio Perez did well to finish second in Bahrain, but was 22.45 seconds behind Verstappen.

That’s a serious margin to pull back, but Perez has a winning chance at +800, and he’s clearly the best-backed driver to beat Verstappen with sport betting markets.

There is better value backing him to score a podium finish. He’s a -200 chance, and he could establish a top-three position most weeks in F1.

His F1 odds are worth snapping up before qualifying. He could rattle off fast laps and qualify in the first three, which will only see his odds shorten.

Leclerc Seeking Top 3

Finishing fourth in the opening GP of the year was Charles Leclerc, who could improve on that position this week.

He has a fast car, and although he finished 39 seconds behind Verstappen, he didn’t have everything go his way on the track.

Leclerc is a driver who could finish in the top three consistently in 2024, and bettors will get value betting online odds.

He’s on the third line of betting for a podium finish at -120. We’re not surprised by the betting support for the Monaco-based 26-year-old.

We’re Picking Piastri

We picked Oscar Piastri to finish in the top six last week and he didn’t deliver.

The Australian finished eighth, but that was close enough for us to stick with the youngster.

The 22-year-old Melbournian doesn’t have much betting support to finish in the top six in Saudi Arabia, but we’re happy to include the +200 in our picks.

There is more improvement with Piastri than many other drivers, so he’s a good consistent wager for the rest of 2024.
