SuperComputer: Verstappen to win all but three F1 GPs in 2024

Max Verstappen will win 21 out of 23 Grand Prix races this season, but one he won’t win is the Dutch Grand Prix according to a SuperComputer used to predict sporting outcomes for bookmakers.

SuperComputer: Verstappen has an 85% chance of winning the 2024 Saudi Grand Prix

In the wake of yesterday’s Qualifying in Jeddah, Verstappen claimed his 34th Grand Prix start from P1 on the grid and is the hot favourite to win this evening’s fourth running of the Saudi GP. To make amends for losing to teammate Sergio Perez last year, in a Red Bull one-two on the night last year.

This is what the SuperComputer predicts for the F1 season ahead: “Verstappen has an 85% chance of winning the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in Jeddah this weekend, and is expected to only lose three races all season.”

Notably, Verstappen is scheduled to not celebrate on the top step of the podium at his home race, the Dutch Grand Prix which he has won for the past three years. A big call by SuperComputer who will not be popular with the Orange Army.

According to SuperComputer, Verstappen’s first defeat will be at the Japanese Grand Prix, Round 4 at Suzuka which he won in style last year. And he will also not be the winner in Singapore, the only race Red Bull did not win in 2023.

As for this weekend in Jeddah, the SuperComputer predicted the above-mentioned victory for Verstappen, with Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc most likely to join him on the podium.

In the other Red Bull, Perez has just a 3.2% chance of winning the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix and is the closest challenger for Verstappen. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton are fancied at just 1.5% and 1.8% respectively.

Oscar Piastri is predicted to win the Japanese Grand Prix,

McLaren driver Piastri will score his maiden F1 victory at Suzuka in two races time, with Verstappen and Carlos Sainz joining him on the podium, while George Russell is backed to win the Dutch Grand Prix with Verstappen again coming second and Sainz third again.

Finally, the Singapore Grand Prix is to be won by Norris, with Piastri completing the top three for that race. Beyond that, the F1 season is essentially over before it really even begins with Verstappen set to collect a whopping 585 points.
