The second favorite is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+350), who comes in as just the No. 6 seed. Guerrero will always be considered a strong threat in this event, ever since he hit a record 91 home runs in the 2019 Home Run Derby before falling to Alonso in the final. Because of his low seeding, Guerrero faces a tough challenge in the first round in the form of Mookie Betts (+1800), who has already hit 26 homers this year.
Finally, the No. 4 vs. No. 5 seed matchup pits Texas Rangers slugger Adolis Garcia (+700) against Tampa Bay Rays youngster Randy Arozarena (+950). Garcia has the advantage this year, having hit 23 homers to Arozarena’s 16, but the Arozarena is known for hitting some absolute bombs, and could put on a show in this matchup.
