Five horses to watch out for at Newmarket's July Festival

Harry Allwood selects five horses to follow at the Moët & Chandon July Festival (Thursday-Saturday) at Newmarket. The Darley July Cup is the feature event over the three days. Racing TV is only place to watch every race live.

Derab won a Novice Stakes at Newmarket in May. He was second to Snow Lantern on his debut and was also second on only his second start as a two-year-old. Last time out he finished six lengths adrift of St Mark’s Basilica in the French Derby. Baaeed has impressed on both his starts but lacks experience. Maximal is probably the one to beat on the form of his St James's Palace Stake.

Primo Bacio won at York. She was withdrawn from Royal Ascot because of the changing ground. Primo will race on Friday. Ed Walker said his filly is looking fantastic. The ground should be in Primos favour on the Friday and she should prove she is a Group One fillie.

Dhabab won his debut race at Leicester. He is favourite for the Coventry Stakes next time out. The step up to seven furlongs is sure to suit him. Dhaba was outpaced at Royal Ascot but he stayed on and finished with plenty of running left in him and is a potential top class horse.

Stunning Beauty won her first two starts last year. She didn't perform well in her two appearances at Meydan this year, but she won at Doncaster in June. The filly has been raised 3lb for the July Festival. She is 7-1 to win the Kensington Palace Stakes next time out.

Starman won the Duke Of York Stakes on his return from the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot. Ed Walker believes Starman has the potential to become the sprinter of his generation. Star man is 9-2 to win the July Festival.
