Former Trojan’s World Series run reflects his baseball past

Garrett Stubbs played baseball for USC. He was drafted in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Stubb played for the Houston Astros for three years before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. The team is on a World Series run. He played against Lars Nootbaar in a Wild Card Series. His brother CJ also attended the game. It was the first time he played with Lars. They both were in attendance. In the Wildcard Series, Stubber played Lars and his brother Nigel. Lars' brother was also there. This is the second time Stubbers played in this series.
