Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix preview, odds: Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen title chase to be decided in final race

Back-to-back Formula One races are a good opportunity to build momentum. The storylines from the previous race don't have to wait long for a continuation.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are tied on points in the championship. The final race in Abu Dhabi is the most important one in Formula One history. Ver stappens has nine wins to Hamilton's eight, so he has the tiebreaker. Yas Marina Circuit has been shortened and the track is designed to have more overtaking opportunities. The last time the two leaders entered the final game tied was in 1974. Emerson Fittipaldi and Clay Regazzoni finished tied in US Grand Prix. They both won. It's possible Verastappy could be excluded from the title race.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are the main contenders for the F1 title in Abu Dhabi. Mercedes leads Red Bull by 28 points in the championship. Ferrari is pushing for third place in Constructors' Championship. Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr. are in a three-way battle for fifth place.
