Freddy Head will retire at the end of the season. Head won France's Cravache d'Or six times and rode Miesque, Bon Mot, San San, Ivanjica, Three Troikas, Marchand D'or, Solow, Edward Whitaker and Moonlight Cloud. Head's best horses raced in the colours of Alain and Gerard Wertheimer. He won his first Group 1 with March and D’Or in 2006 Prix Maurice de Gheest. His most famous association in saddle was with Mysque. The most recent of his horses was Solowe.
