Gambling app boom fuels in-stadium fan bets

Sports betting apps allow people to place bets on the game. Indiana legalized sports gambling in 2019. Last year, casinos reported more than $288 million in after-tax gross receipts from online bets. More than 18,400 geolocation checks were made at Lucas Oil Stadium during the last Monday night home game on November 28. The data analytics firm GeoComply logged more more that 18.400 Geolocate checks from 5,200 registered users at the stadium.
