Your morning Chelsea digest on Tuesday, September 26.

Neville prediction

Gary Neville has predicted Todd Boehly to make some major changes following Chelsea's defeat to Aston Villa. With Pochettino beginning to face a somewhat uncertain future, the former Manchester United defender expects some movement at Cobham training in the coming weeks.

"What are Chelsea doing?!" said Neville on his podcast, as quoted by the Metro. "What is happening? I’ve got great faith in Mauricio Pochettino, but he’s got a huge pack of cards and he’s struggling to know which hand to play.

"It’s a mystery as to what’s happening at Chelsea. Sometimes chaos just flows throughout a club. I think there will be some changes in how they go about their business. I can’t see this lasting in terms of how it’s being run. It’s madness."

Mudryk audition

Mykhailo Mudryk has proven to Mauricio Pochettino that he deserves a place in the Chelsea starting lineup for years to come. The 22-year-old winger initially struggled to impress upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge but, after starting back-to-back Premier League games for just the second time, he's recently proven his critics wrong.

The Blues couldn't quite secure three points against Aston Villa, but Mudryk created two fantastic chances in the first-half. In the opening moments of the game, the Ukrainian showcased his playmaking ability from deep with a defence-splitting through ball to Nicolas Jackson, who failed to beat Emiliano Martinez at the near post.

Then, at the half-hour mark, the Ukrainian demonstrated his physical prowess, running in-behind the Villans' backline before delivering a daisy-cutting ball across the six-yard box – but nobody anticipated the pass.

Chelsea staff member leaves

According to The Telegraph, Bruno Saltor has 'secretly' left Chelsea with the club paying out the remainder of the 42-year-old's contract. He arrived at Stamford Bridge last year when the Blues forked out £21million on Graham Potter his staff from Brighton.

The Telegraph add that Chelsea have decided against publicly communicating Bruno's departure. Just two more members of the team who joined the club from the Seagulls with Potter now remain – Ben Roberts, head of goalkeeping, and Kyle Macaulay, a data analyst.

Mauricio Pochettino will be working his players hard on the training pitches at Cobham in the coming days. But, with a member of the his first-team coaching staff walking, the 51-year-old has been dealt a major blow to his efforts of turning things around.
