Ghana set sights on Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong as Black Stars continue national team reinforcement
Ghana is interested in signing a player from Bayer Leverkusen. Jeremie Frimpong has international eligibility for the African giants through direct lineage from his parents. Frimpong played for Manchester City and Celtic before joining the German club. He has made 57 appearances for Die Werkself and scored four goals. The Black Stars are preparing for their next generation. Tariq Lamptey switched allegiances to Ghana this year. Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also being considered. Iñaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, Elisha Owusu, Stephan Ambrosius, Joe Wollacott, Taryqe Fosu and Emmanuel Gyasi have recently been brought into the Black Star's squad.
