Grand Slam Of Darts Quarter-Final Betting Tips – Day 7

19:15 – James Wade vs Josh Rock:  Rock To Win & Most 180s @ 11/10

We’re backing Josh Rock to continue his fairy-tale run in the 2023 Grand Slam of Darts with a victory against three-time runner-up James Wade in the opening match of the evening.

Both of these world class darts players won impressively on Wednesday night in the last-16 ties, with ‘Rocky’ defeating Krzysztof Ratajski 10-5 and ‘The Machine’ winning 10-8 against Chris Dobey.

Rock has improved as the tournament has progressed, emphatically blowing aside ‘The Polish Eagle’ in the last-16. On his day, the Northern Irishman is a huge scorer and hits a lot of 180s. If he hits his doubles with regularity, he is incredibly difficult to stop.

For this reason, we believe 11/10 for a Josh Rock match double (win and most 180s) is solid value and worth adding to a double.

20:30 – Luke Humphries vs Gary Anderson: Anderson To Win @ 13/10

Gary Anderson has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence this season, and looks to be the form man ahead of his quarter-final tie with the red-hot Luke Humphries on Friday night.

‘The Flying Scotsman’ caused a huge upset in the last-16, defeating bitter rival Gerwyn Price in a thriller, with both men averaging over 103 on the night. When he’s in full flow, Gary Anderson is a joy to watch.

‘Coolhand’ is arguably the best player in the world right now, and will be a tough nut to crack, that is for sure. Both men are huge power scorers, but we can see ‘The Flying Scotsman’ prevailing in a classic in this best-of-31-legs tungsten tussle on Friday night.

There is huge value whichever way you bet in this one, but backing the two-time world champion to back up his impressive win over ‘The Iceman’ looks a solid bet and one worth adding to your Grand Slam of Darts double.
