Game Info: Monday, November 20, 2023 at 8:00 pm (United Center)

Betting Odds: Chicago Bulls +1.5 -- Over/Under: 210.5

The Miami Heat travel to the United Center to battle the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat were in great form as they were riding a seven-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Bulls in a 102-97 road loss on Saturday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 25 points, Bam Adebayo tallied 24 points with 10 rebounds and five assists on eight of 12 shooting, while Duncan Robinson drained four 3-pointers to finish with 17 points and seven assists. As a team, the Heat shot 42 percent from the field and 12 of 36 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first quarter by 26-14 to take the early lead, but they never put away the Bulls and got blown away by 34-21 in the fourth quarter to fall in a surprise upset. The Heat had only three players finish in double figures in scoring and Caleb Martin scored just five points on two of nine shooting while Haywood Highsmith finished scoreless.

Chicago Bulls

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in a rut as they've lost four of their last six games overall, but they wiill be feeling better following their gritty win over the Heat on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 23 points, Nikola Vucevic added 15 points while Coby White chipped in with 14 points and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 44 percent from the field and 16 of 45 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and trailed by as many as 21 points, before they worked their way back and made their move in the fourth quarter to snatch the game from the Heat in a much-needed win.

Peter's Pick

The Heat will be disappointed with how they lost to the Bulls on Saturday as they got the early lead and looked to be in control until they went ice-cold in the fourth. There was an element of luck given that the Heat were missing so many shots they usually make, so I'm expecting another close one here. It's always tough to beat the same team twice in a row and the Bulls have yet to put on a solid run this season, so I'll stick with the Heat at the short line in this spot.
