Knicks vs Heat Prediction

The New York Knicks and the Miami Heat collide in a pivotal Game 4 at the Kaseya Center on Monday night.

The New York Knicks will be hoping to square up the series after getting scorched by the Heat in a 105-86 loss in Game 3 on Saturday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists, Josh Hart added 15 points with 12 rebounds while RJ Barrett chipped in with 14 points on five of 16 shooting. As a team, the Knicks shot just 34 percent from the field and eight of 40 from the 3-point line as they struggled against the Heat’s pressure defense from the start and scored just 21 points in the first quarter, before they went ice-cold and managed just 16 points in the fourth quarter. Julius Randle had another poor outing as he finished with just 10 points on four of 15 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat will be aiming to take a commanding 3-1 series lead after taking care of business on Saturday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 28 points, Max Strus added 19 points while Bam Adebayo chipped in with 17 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, the Heat shot 38 percent from the field and seven of 32 from the 3-point line, but this win was all about their defense as they set the tone by keeping the Knicks to just 21 points in the first quarter and they outscored them in every quarter to make it a blowout. Gabe Vincent had a night to forget as he scored just five points on one of eight shooting while Duncan Robinson scored just four points on one of six shooting off the bench.

Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 38-17-1 ATS in their last 56 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four Conference Semifinals games. The Heat are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games and 6-0 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Miami and the Knicks are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Knicks are going to be shorthanded in this one as Immanuel Quickley is listed as doubtful, while the Heat are still missing Tyler Herro. The Knicks could never pose a threat after getting off to such a poor start on Saturday so they’re going to need more from Randle who was barely a factor. The Heat reclaimed the series lead in Game 3 and they could easily be up 3-0 if Butler didn’t sit out Game 2, so I’ll stick with the Heat who are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games.
