The game will have a distinct Canada vs. United States theme. There will also be an appearance by the Canadian women's Olympic hockey team. The venue is located in Hamilton, Ontario, which is about half way between Toronto and Buffalo. Scotiabank Arena is 43 miles away from Tim Tim's field. KeyBank Center is 62 miles from the stadium. It's also close to Buffalo and to Toronto. NHL chief content officer Steve Mayer says geography was a significant consideration.
