Horse Racing Tips Thursday 23rd November 2023 best bets and most tipped horses

it's a busy day's racing with five fixtures taking place on Thursday and the action gets under way at Market Rasen over the sticks at 11:57, while there's alternative racing at Newcastle, Thurles, Wincanton and Wolverhampton. We pick out the best bets from our naps table for today's action, while also pick out some of the big racing stories hitting the headlines...

Joe Tizzard has been in decent form of late and he will bid for more success on Thursday when he heads to Wincanton with Tamaris, who looks a leading contender for the 15:15 race and that 4/1 shot has proven one of the most popular naps of the day with three tipsters napping him for glory. The six-year-old has taken to chasing extremely well and has notched up wins at Plumpton and Fontwell and he will bid for the hat-trick this afternoon and three tipsters - including the likes of Jon Freeman from The i and Sirius from The Sun On Sunday - have napped the Tizzard raider. There are two popular naps running at Market Rasen's National Hunt meeting this afternoon and the first of those is the Venetia Williams-trained Haut Folin, who has been napped by three tipsters for the 14:50 contest, while earlier on in the afternoon the Kim Bailey-trained Lady Gwen is another napped by three tipsters on the card and that contender bids for glory in the 12:30 race.

Horseracing.net says: "Hugely progressive over fences, Tamaris kicked off his winning run with a victory off 92 at Plumpton, while he followed up off a 5lbs higher mark at Fontwell next time out. Taking his chance off 102 today, Joe Tizzard's raider will need to improve again, but he's going the right way and can easy strike again in a competitive-looking contest here."

With a profit of £10.70, The Punt from the Racing Post is topping the racing naps table and that tipster heads to Market Rasen this afternoon for the nap of the day and the tipster has sided with Itchy Feet in the 13:40 race. The nine-year-old Graded winner will line up over hurdles today and will have a tough task to down Le Milos, but he should improve significantly for a run at Newton Abbot last time out and he could well cause a shock around the 9/2 mark today. Brian Flanagan sits in second place and also heads to Market Rasen for his best bet of the day and he has napped The Same in the 14:15 race, while The Brigadier, who is third in the naps table, veers to Wincanton's Jumps card and that tipster has napped Il Pino, who goes for glory in the 13:30 race on Thursday afternoon.
