Horse Racing Tips Friday 24th November 2023 best bets and most tipped horses

There's a bumper day's racing with six horse racing fixtures taking place on Friday and we pick out some of the best naps from our racing naps table, as we look to point you in the right direction of the winner. There's racing taking place Ascot, Fairyhouse, Catterick, Chepstow, Southwell and Dundalk, so why not check out what the tipsters are backing today, while also look at some of the big racing stories...

Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville have a big weekend ahead of them as Shishkin lines up in the 1965 Chase at Ascot tomorrow, but the Seven Barrows team head to the Berkshire track today looking for a winner and they will unleash the 7/2 chance Ideal Des Bordes in the 12:15 contest and that runner has proven the most popular nap in our racing naps table. Napped by four tipsters, the five-year-old was third in his bumper and makes his hurdling debut today and could be one that improves for the switch to the jumping game. Ascot's Jumps card is a hotbed for the naps on Friday and Harry Derham's Monviel goes for glory in the 12:50 race at Ascot and has been napped by three tipsters, while Tom Lacey's classy Tea Clipper is well fancied for the 15:10 race and is another fancied runner on Friday. For those looking for a nap away from Ascot could head to Chepstow's afternoon National Hunt card and the Richard Mitford-Slade-trained Lazy Sunday is a 2/1 chance for the 14:50 race and has been napped by three tipsters.

Horseracing.net says: "Well fancied on his bumper debut, Ideal Des Bordes could only finish third, but Nicky Henderson's youngster is sure to build on that effort this afternoon and looks more than capable of tasting victory in the 12:15 at Ascot. The pair that finished in front of him in his bumper have since gone on and won a race, so the form looks strong and the point winner can strike gold today."

Topping the naps table is The Punt from The Racing Post and that tipster heads to Catterick for the best bet on Friday and The Punt will be hoping his selection Geromino can finally get his head in front when he lines up in the 13:50 at Catterick. Donald McCain's charge has racked up three second placed finishes on the bounce and was last seen finishing runner-up at Wetherby. He will have the burden of top weight today and he's been upped 1lb, but he's been knocking on the door of late and can finally get his head in front. Brian Flanagan from the Irish Daily Star is second in the naps table and heads to Fairyhouse's 14:40 race for his nap of the day and he has put up Papa Barns as the best bet, while The Brigadier has headed to Ascot and napped the popular Ideal Des Bordes for the Henderson team in the 12:15 contest.
