ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’m staying with the Astros. Probably not touching it due to the thick line, though. Verlander is rolling along pretty smoothly right now, going 2-0 with 11.0 innings, zero earned, seven hits and three walks over his last two starts. Rodon isn’t pitching too badly himself right now; he’s got three earned runs in 10.2 innings over his last two starts. He’ll have his hands full versus the Houston offense, though. The Astros have scored six or more runs in five straight games, and nine or more in three of tier last five. That’s a ton of production, and with Verlander on the mound for Houston it’s going to be tough for the Yankees offense to keep up on the scoreboard.
