How Bradford City rank in early League Two promotion odds

THE 2022/2023 League Two campaign has only just finished - but the bookmaker odds are already out for next season.

Carlisle’s penalty win over Stockport in Sunday’s play-off final at Wembley brought the curtain down and confirmed the Hatters as the 24th team in the fourth tier.

And fans can already have a flutter on how they think the Bantams are going to fare.

There’s likely to be plenty happening over the summer as Mark Hughes looks to add to yesterday’s signing of Andy Cook on a long-term deal.

And the bookmakers seem confident that City will improve on their recent sixth-placed finish - making them fourth favourites to go up next May.

Unsurprisingly, Phil Parkinson’s big-spending Wrexham are the hot tip to go straight through League Two. Notts County, who also topped 100 points in the National League, are expected to follow suit.

Wrexham are evens for promotion and Notts at 9/4. Stockport are 2/1 second favourites after their play-off heartbreak with City currently priced 9/4.

Relegated MK Dons, Gillingham, Salford, Mansfield and Doncaster under returning boss Grant McCann all follow closely.

City are evens to make the play-offs again - and 14/1 to win the League Two title. Wrexham are 4/1 favourites, Stockport at eights and Notts County 11/1.
