Huge prize at stake as USA face Portugal in Dubai

USA play Portugal in the 20th and final qualifier for Rugby World Cup 2023. The winner will join Wales, Australia, Fiji and Georgia in Pool C. Cam Dolan will win his 63rd cap. Bryce Campbell will come in at outside centre for Marcel Brache. Chris Mattina will make his USA debut off the bench. Gary Gold is the USA head coach. He is focused on the short-term goal of going to the World Cups next year. It is only the third time the teams have met.

USA play Portugal in Dubai in Rugby World Cup. Jose Lima was in the crowd in 2007 watching Portugal. He wants to help his country to win the tournament in France 2023.

USA take on Portugal in Dubai on Friday. The winner will be the higher-ranked team. Portugal need to win by over 15 points to overtake their Iberian rivals Spain.  Raffaele Storti, Jose Madeira, Steevy Cerqueira and Joao Granate are the only players who wore the same jersey for Portugal from the team that defeated Kenya 85-0 in round two.

USA play Portugal in Dubai. Hong Kong play Kenya. Both teams lost in the first two rounds. They are out of contention for a place at Rugby World Cup 2023. Hongkong have freshened up their line-up with a number of injured players.

Hong Kong are playing in the Final Qualification Tournament. They lost 85-0 to Portugal. Kenya lost to them 85 to 0. Hong Kong want to finish on a high and beat Kenya. Kenya are coming off a record 85 against Portugal and are looking for a positive response.
