• The Black and Whites have now lost their last five matches with head coach Tony Smith promising changes for this contest but at least one of those will be enforced with fullback Tex Hoy ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Hull FC will hope this derby with cross-city rivals Hull KR can lift them into producing a better performance having now lost their last five. In truth, they have been poor for the majority of those games and it would not be a surprise if they lost again here. Hull KR have been patchy so far this season but have won their last two in relatively comfortable fashion. They look the more assured side and based on what the hosts have shown so far this season, an away win is on the cards in this one with bragging rights set to be with the east side of the city.
