Illinois now the second largest sports betting market in the country

Illinois is now the second largest sports betting market in the country. New York led the way with more than $877 million in revenue. Since March of this year, Illinois residents can sign-up online for sportsbooks. Since the beginning of legal sports gambling, over $157 billion has been bet in U.S. Currently, 26 states allow sportsbetting. Illinois sportsbook have produced nearly $175 million for state and local governments since the industry launched.
