James Maddison Next Club Odds: Spurs At 3/1 Amid Summer Link

In the latest Tottenham transfer news, Spurs are reportedly plotting a move for Leicester City midfielder James Maddison this summer with Daniel Levy eager to strike a deal for the Englishman. In light of this, we’re taking a look at the latest James Maddison next club odds.

Tottenham Transfer News

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is said to be keen on striking a deal for Leicester City midfielder James Maddison this summer, per the Daily Mail.

Spurs are currently without a permanent manager following the departure of Antonio Conte, but it hasn’t stopped Levy from identifying Maddison as a transfer target for the summer.

Maddison, who is also a target for Newcastle, lined up alongside Tottenham skipper Harry Kane in England’s game against Ukraine last month.

He is believed to be seen as a possible creative outlet for Spurs. This is something that they have desperately been lacking in recent times.

Of course, Kane himself may be on the move come the end of the season. Therefore a partnership with Maddison may not even be given a chance to come to fruition.

The England skipper is reportedly Erik ten Hag’s number one target, with Manchester United looking for a main man up front.

Despite Leicester having a torrid time this term, Maddison has displayed some excellent performances.

In 21 Premier League appearances, the 26-year-old has chipped in with nine goals and six assists as the Foxes languish in the relegation zone.

If the former Premier League champions are relegated, Maddison staying in the Midlands would almost be considered impossible.

Valued at around £55 million, per TransfermarktMaddison has just over a year left on his contract.
