Jets vs. Broncos NFL Player Props, Odds

The 1-3 Denver Broncos host the 1-3 New York Jets as we make our Jets vs. Broncos NFL player props for Week 5 based on the best NFL odds.

Zach Wilson was 28-for-39 for 245 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. He fumbled late, which sealed the loss for his team, but it was a performance that should give him confidence as he heads to Denver.

The Denver Broncos needed a 21-point comeback to beat the Chicago Bears in Week 4. The defense has allowed 28 or more points in three of their four games, and the offense has scored 30 or more twice.

Here are our best Jets vs. Broncos NFL player props for Week 5 (NFL odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Jets vs. Broncos NFL player props: Week 5

Russell Wilson Under 224.5 passing yards (-110 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wilson has been much better this season than he was in 2022. However, he’s about to face a very good Jets defense, and we don’t expect him to come close to this number.

Wilson has thrown for over 300 yards in two games this season. On paper, that looks great. But one of those performances was aided by a 50-yard Hail Mary as time expired, and the other came in the Broncos’ 70-20 loss to the Dolphins.

Wilson seems to rack up yards when his team trails by a lot, but last week, he managed just 223 despite his team needing a 21-point comeback. The Jets aren’t going to open up a huge lead, and the secondary is allowing just 223.8 yards per game. Neither of those things bode well for Wilson.

Breece Hall Over 59.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This week, Robert Saleh said that Hall is no longer on any type of snap count. That couldn’t have been better for the young star running back. His matchup on Sunday is phenomenal. The Broncos are allowing 176.0 rushing yards per game, and they have allowed at least one rusher to hit 87 yards against them in three of their four games.

Hall had a huge Week 1, then did nothing for two weeks. Last week, he ran the ball only six times, but he managed 56 yards. We don’t expect the Jets to fall behind 17-0 this week. Since they won’t, they’ll be able to get the ball to Hall as much as they want to, putting him in line for a massive day.

Zach Wilson Under 29.5 passing attempts (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is another four-star play for us. Wilson has thrown the ball a combined 75 times in his last two games. But the Jets were also losing for nearly the entirety of both those games. The game script called for him to throw, so he did.

This week, there won’t be as much riding on Wilson. As illustrated above, we expect a huge game from Hall so the Jets can take the ball out of Wilson’s hands and still pick up yardage.

Wilson threw 27 or fewer passes in each game in the first two weeks. In Week 1, he threw just 21. That is where the Jets want him to be. The Broncos’ defense is bad everywhere, but the Jets are a team that needs to exploit the run defense, not the pass. Look for Wilson to attempt closer to 25 passes in this game.
