Jones team Hot To Trot at Addington Raceway

Canterbury harness racing heads to Addington tomorrow night (Oct 6th) for the Sires Stakes two-year-old series for boys and girls. Highgrove, the country's leading three- year-olds trotter, is the favourite in futures betting. Hot To Trot, a Mark Jones trained son of Creatine, has been impressive in his new campaign since a Northern Trots Derby placing. Hot to Trott is unbeaten in two races this time in from his winter spell. He is out of the ill-fated Sundon mare, Lady Boo Kay. Six of her seven foals have won races.

Hot To Trot, Samantha Ottley, Tact Teel, Monaco Grace and Major Torque are racing on Thursday night at Addington. Samantha is one win behind Sarah O’Reilly for leading female honours. She's in the fifth heat of the prestigious Nevele R Fillies Series. She has been mixing her form recently. The juvenile Major Tque missed a start in a Sires Stakes heat later in Thursday's card. He's a good chance to be a winner.
