Jerome Tang takes over as the new head coach of Kansas State. The team is playing its first game under Tang on Monday night at 8 p.m. CT at Bramlage Coliseum. It's the fourth all-time meeting between K-State and UTRGV. K State is 92-26 in season openers dating back to the first season in 1903. U-Trov won the previous three games by an average of 14 points.
