LASK Linz vs Liverpool prediction and odds ahead of Europa League clash

Liverpool may not want to be in the Europa League this season but Jurgen Klopp's side have a great chance of securing more European silverware this season as they go into this season as favourites to lift the competition. Champions League football is the priority this season but have two solid chances either domestically or on a Thursday night starting with Austria's LASK Linsk.

The Reds are the firm favourites going into this match with Betfred at 2/7 while LASK are 17/2 and a draw is 5/1. It is the first ever competitive meeting between the two sides and the fifth meeting LASK have faced opposition from England picking up just a draw and three defeats in that time.

The visitors have started their Premier League campaign strongly with four wins and draw sitting two points behind leaders and reigning champions Man City as they look to avoid a repeat of last season's dip in form. For LASK, they sit third in their league and are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions.
