LeBron James Again Hints At Desire For Roster Upgrades
LeBron James wants the Lakers to sell their 2027 and 2029 first-round picks to improve the roster. The team has gone 7-5 since Anthony Davis went down with a foot injury. It is closer to a play-in spot now than it was before Davis' injury and it's possible the team could still make the NBA Finals. The Lakers are getting contributions from Thomas Bryant, Dennis Schröder, Austin Reaves, Lonnie Walker and sixth man Russell Westbrook. They are also getting some contributions of their role players. After signing a contract extension in August, the organization's top decision-makers are reluctant to part with the first round picks unless there's a significant improvement to the squad.
