Brighton & Hove Albion will be in search of another win to keep them in the top seven this weekend after a magnificent run of form in 2023 that has seen them score 12 goals in three games before this clash with Leicester City.
The Seagulls are the most in-form side in 2023 so far in the Premier League after winning all three games. This started with a sensational 4-1 win on Merseyside against Everton, before hammering Middlesbrough 5-1 in the North East in the FA Cup.
A Solly March masterclass and a fantastic goal from Danny Welbeck then saw Brighton ease past Liverpool in what is easily one of their best performances of the season so far.
It pushes Brighton into seven and with two games in hand over fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, they could find themselves in the Europa League spot if their magical run of winning form continues.
As for Leicester, their woes continued with a 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend which has now reignited relegation fears - the Foxes are only two points above the drop zone once again.
Leicester were also knocked out of the EFL Cup quarter-finals two weeks ago by Newcastle United, and lost to them in their first post-World Cup game. It now means only one win for Leicester, as they edged past Gillingham in the FA Cup.
