LSU vs Missouri Bold Predictions (Williams in for Huge Night)

LSU has precisely one win in its last 16 games ahead of a matchup with the Missouri Tigers tonight. Mizzou is just 2-5 against the spread (ATS) in its previous seven contests, so both teams are looking to deliver some positives for their respective programs.

With LSU as short home underdogs, I’ve got some bold predictions to get us a BIG payday. Caesars Sportsbook is helping the cause too with an excellent promo you’ll love: bet insurance of up to $1,250! Your first wager of up to $1,250 will be refunded in bonus bets if you lose, guaranteed.

LSU vs Missouri Bold Predictions

With LSU looking for some positive momentum heading into SEC Tournament play, I think there’s value on the hosts to win. If that happens, their best player will need to have a huge night. Here’s how I see the game unfolding:

LSU Wins

LSU has struggled mightily this season, but there’s reason to believe they can hang with Mizzou. LSU has eight wins in the last nine meetings between these two. Playing at home, this is a game where LSU can get back on track.

Missouri struggles in two critical areas: defensive rebounding and fouls. Mizzou ranks 363rd in defensive rebounding percentage (38.1%), meaning their opponent rebounds nearly 62% of their own misses! LSU will have plenty of opportunities for second-chance points as a result.

Second, Missouri ranks 283rd in defensive free throw rate (35.8%). If LSU can secure rebounds and get to the charity stripe, it’ll be in a great position to steal an upset.

KJ Williams Has a Monster Night

If the path to an LSU victory is Mizzou giving up rebounds and free throws, then that means KJ Williams will continue his stellar stretch of play.

In his last game, Williams put up 29 points with five rebounds against Mississippi. In the game before that, Williams had 35 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Vanderbilt. He’s on fire, and nothing about Mizzou’s defense suggests it can slow him down.

Williams might clear this prop on points alone, so I’m sprinting to back him alongside LSU tonight.

Whether you want to bet these individually or look at a parlay for a bigger payout, just be sure to first and secure your $1,250 bet insurance. You can swing for the fences freely, knowing you can’t lose either way!
