Man Utd Quadruple Odds

Manchester United fans are daring to dream of winning an historic quadruple following an impressive run of results for the Red Devils.

UK bookmakers make Erik ten Hag’s men the clear favourites to beat Newcastle in the EFL Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.

They are also among the favourites to win the Europa League after holding Barcelona to a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their playoff clash last week.

Man Utd are also looking forward to an FA Cup fifth round showdown with West Ham at Old Trafford on March 1.

Meanwhile, a 3-0 victory over Leicester at the weekend left them just five points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.

The Red Devils are battling on four fronts, so they could become the first English club to win four big trophies in a single season.

You can find 500/1 on them winning the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League, which could be a tempting punt.

We have assessed United’s chances of winning all four trophies below.

Europa League

Man Utd are gearing up to host Barcelona for the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie on Thursday.

They won five out of six group stage games, but they ultimately finished below Real Sociedad on goal difference.

That necessitated a two-legged play-off against a team that finished third in a Champions League group, and United were drawn against the mighty Barcelona.

The Blaugrana are currently eight points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table in Spain, with 19 wins, two draws and just one defeat from 22 games.

They have only conceded seven league goals all season - at a rate of just 0.32 per game - but Rashford ran them ragged at the Nou Camp last week.

He scored one and set up the other as United left Spain with a 2-2 draw.

The England forward now has 16 goals in his last 17 games, making it the most productive season of his career thus far.

Barcelona will be without key midfielders Gavi and Pedri for the second leg, while manager Xavi is also sweating on the fitness of Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong.

As such, United are the 5/4 favourites with to win the game in 90 minutes.

They are currently priced at 7/1 to win the tournament - leaving them behind favourites Arsenal in the betting - but those odds would shorten significantly if they were to get the better of Barca on Thursday.

EFL Cup

United were handed a major boost when a moment of madness from Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope ruled him out of Sunday’s EFL Cup final.

To make matters worse, Newcastle’s reserve goalkeeper Martin Dubravka played for United in the tournament when on loan earlier this season, so he is cup-tied.

Manager Eddie Howe may now have to turn to third-choice stopper Loris Karius, who may still be traumatised by his showing in the 2018 Champions League final.

That seriously improved United’s chances of winning the EFL Cup. They are now 23/20 with William Hill to win the game in 90 minutes and 4/6 to lift the trophy.

Newcastle are winless in four matches, and they appear to have run out of steam at the worst time of the year, which does not bode well for a match against in-form Man Utd.

FA Cup

Manchester City are the 6/4 favourites with the leading UK bookmakers to win the FA Cup this season.

Pep Guardiola’s men landed a comfortable fifth round clash with Championship side Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

However, United are the 7/2 second favourites with BetVictor as they prepare for their fifth round match against the Hammers at Old Trafford.

West Ham are embroiled in a relegation battle, so they may not take the game as seriously as United, and the Red Devils should prevail.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle have already crashed out of the competition, and United beat Man City in their last meeting, so they have a realistic chance of lifting the FA Cup.

You can take 6/1 on Man Utd winning both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup this season, and that looks like an attractive bet when you consider that they are yet to lose a knockout stage game since ten Hag took over as manager.

Premier League

BoyleSports slashed the odds on Man Utd winning the Premier League title to just 10/1 after they swept Leicester aside at the weekend.

However, you can still find 12/1 elsewhere on United clinching the title for the first time since the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

The Red Devils are in better form than title rivals Arsenal and Man City over their last four games.

However, their away record is a cause for concern: they have won just six out of 12 games on the road this season, and they have a -3 goal difference away from the fortress of Old Trafford.

They still have to go to St James’ Park, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Anfield before the end of the season, so it may be difficult for them to overhaul the teams above them.

Yet they have already played both Arsenal and City home and away this season, and they are full of confidence right now, so they are certainly in the title race.

If you think they can pull off a domestic treble, you can take 125/1 with on them lifting all three trophies.

They are also 20/1 to win the Premier League and the EFL Cup, or 66/1 to win the Premier League and the FA Cup.
