Man Utd staff 'concerned by influence of Ten Hag's representative' with his agency behind three key summer transfers

MANCHESTER UNITED staff members are growing concerned over the influence of Erik ten Hag's agent Kees Vos, according to reports.

The Red Devils have had a miserable start to the season, languishing 13th after their 3-1 home defeat to Brighton on Saturday.

United stars Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof were involved in furious dressing room bust-ups after the match.

In further turmoil for the 20-time champions, the Mail claim that figures within the club are growing concerned over Ten Hag's agent's involvement in transfers.

Vos founded agency Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) who boast 600 clients.

United previously had dealings with the Dutch-based organisation when signing Robin van Persie and Memphis Depay.

But they had scarcely worked with them for many years... until Ten Hag showed up.

It's now claimed that SEG, with Ten Hag's son Nigel working for them, have become United's "go-to agency" when it comes to negotiating transfers.

SEG represent striker Rasmus Hojlund, and helped to complete his move to Old Trafford from Atalanta.

While they also negotiated Sofyan Amrabat's loan switch from Fiorentina on the Red Devils' behalf.

Former United youngster Zidane Iqbal signed with SEG in June.

Two months later he was sold to Eredivisie side Utrecht on a permanent deal.

Other agencies are said to be "unhappy" at losing out on business with Man United due to SEG's involvement.

Other figures within United are said to be relaxed about the situation with Vos, believing that it is normal for top clubs to have strong ties with certain agencies.

SEG were involved in more than 300 transfers during the summer transfer window.
