Bayern to send United packing
It’s difficult to know which United will turn up in each game and their inconsistent form was highlighted again last week, as they went from beating Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford on Wednesday to losing 3-0 at home to Bournemouth three days later.
The Red Devils have lost three of their last five matches at home across all competitions and another defeat at Old Trafford would ramp up the pressure on Dutch head coach Erik ten Hag.
Although already assured of top spot in the group, visitors Bayern will not be easing up and they are also in need of a response after a 5-1 thumping at Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend.
The Bavarians have a golden opportunity to gain some form of revenge on the club that famously defeated them in the 1999 Champions League final, and will not pass that chance up.
It was a rare blip in the league for Bayern last time out and Thomas Tuchel is expected to put out a strong starting XI as his side look to maintain their unbeaten record in the group.
Bayern have also won six of their last seven Champions League games on the road and they look a great price to chalk up another three points on their travels.

Goals on the agenda
With United needing to go for the victory, this should be an open game and it would be no surprise if there are plenty of goals scored at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have conceded 14 goals in the group – only Antwerp (15) have let in more in the competition – but they have managed to score 12 times, which is the fifth-best record.
Bayern have been involved in plenty of entertaining away encounters of late with four of their last six road fixtures producing over 3.5 goals, while the reverse fixture produced seven in a 4-3 Bayern win.

Bet builder has Kane harrying United
Harry Kane has enjoyed a fantastic start to his Bayern career since the summer switch from Tottenham Hotspur, netting 22 goals across all competitions.
Four of those have come in the Champions League, leaving the Englishman joint-second in the Golden Boot race, and he should be able to add to his tally against a leaky United defence.
Joining Kane on the scoresheet could be United ace Rasmus Hojlund, who has been in fine fettle in Europe this season with five goals to his name.
The 20-year-old Denmark striker, who has yet to open his Premier League account, is expected to lead the line on Tuesday and he can reward that show of faith with his sixth European goal.
Rounding off this bet builder is for United left-back Sergio Reguilon to be carded. The 26-year-old Spaniard, on loan from Tottenham, hasn’t had much playing time this season, but when he has got on to the pitch, he has left his mark.
Reguilon has been booked three times in just seven league appearances – only Bruno Fernandes has been cautioned more in the squad – and he could struggle to contain Bayern's attacking talents.
