Mavericks Odds: How to bet tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers

The Mavericks most recent game against the Lakers went exactly how we predicted. Darwin Ham tried to win the game at less than full throttle. The Mavs offense was clicking early and often but the defense almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. AD and Bron went under on their point totals(✅) while the Mavs covered the 1Q spread(✅).

As far as tonight, expect a shootout. The Mavs defense could be exactly what the doctor ordered for a Clipper offense that has struggled to gel since its acquisition of James Harden. Defensively, the Clippers no longer strike fear into the hearts of opposing offenses. Luka and Kyrie should face little resistance and should exceed 70-75 points as a duo.

As of 9:45 AM CST, DraftKings has yet to release props for James Harden. I fully expect him to have his best game in a Clippers uniform and torch the Mavericks make shift defense. Harden struggles to get separation and get into the lane at will but that shouldn’t be an issue against anyone in the Maverick’s rotation. In the absence of Harden over/unders, I am going to triple down on Luka and trust that his disdain for the Clippers organization will manifest itself in another great all around game.
