Messi Next Club Odds: Barca Vice President Dreams Of Return

Barcelona‘s Vice President Rafa Yuste has told the media that he’d ‘love’ for Lionel Messi to come back and that they ‘hope to find the right conditions to continue his history’ there. In light of this, we’re taking a look at the latest Lionel Messi Next Club Odds.

Ever since joining PSG, rumours of Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona have been constant.

Now a World Cup winner, Messi is enjoying his best season with the Parisiens.

In 32 appearances this season, the Argentine has 18 goals and 17 assists, already more goals and assists than last season in two less matches.

Barcelona haven’t been the only ones linked with a move for the seven time Balon d’Or winner.

Inter Miami were priced as favourites in his next club odds just a few weeks back, and rumours of a move to the Saudi Pro League had also been tipped.

The market has now changed however, with the Blaugrana becoming clear favourites to secure his signature.

Speaking in early March, Barca President Joan Laporta revealed that he had met with Messi’s father.

“I met Jorge Messi, we talked about the World Cup and a tribute match for Leo. I’m happy for him.” Laporta stated.

“He’s at PSG right now, so I don’t want to speak about whether or not he could return.”

But now, Barcelona Vice President Rafa Yuste spoke about his dream of Messi returning to the Camp Nou.

“We’ve been in contact with Leo Messi’s camp. Leo knows how much we appreciate him and I’d love for him to come back.” Yuste said.

“For sure Messi loves Barça and the city, so we hope to find the right conditions to continue his history here.”
